Key Responsibilities

As a General Assistant, your daily duties will include:

Loading and Handling Stock

• Loading customer vehicles, delivery trucks, and transfer trucks
• Making sure all items are loaded correctly and safely
• Helping prepare stock for transfers

Stock Control

• Counting stock and making sure numbers are correct
• Reporting any shortages or missing items
• Reporting damaged or broken stock

Yard Maintenance and Cleaning

• Keeping the work area clean and organised
• Sweeping and maintaining good housekeeping
• Making sure stock is stacked properly

Customer Service

• Assisting customers in a friendly and helpful way
• Helping customers understand products

General Duties

• Bagging materials like sand and stone

Minimum Requirements
