Purpose Statement

Experience

Minimum:

• 3 to 6 months of client service experience in a retail, financial, or banking environment.
• Candidates with a relevant tertiary qualification may be considered even without experience.

Ideal:

• More than 1 year of client service experience in a retail, financial, or banking environment.
• A proven track record in sales and client-facing roles.

Qualifications

Minimum:

• Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational

Preferred:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or a related field.
• Certification in Finance or Banking.

Knowledge

Required:

• Basic calculations
• Retail/consumer service environment

Ideal:

• Capitec Bank Products
• Internal business processes and procedures
• Organizational policies, including the Branch Credit Granting Policy (BCGP)

Skills

• Communication Skills
• Interpersonal and Relationship Management Skills
• Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)

Conditions of Employment

• Clear criminal and credit record
• Must have fingerprints that are detectable/recognizable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system
