What the Job is About

The Client Care Agent role is focused on giving top-quality customer support. You’ll be the first point of contact for many Capitec clients, meaning you’ll help with questions, solve problems, and provide clear information about accounts and card transactions.

You’ll also be responsible for assisting clients who use Capitec Internet Banking and Mobile Banking services. This includes guiding them through processes, resolving technical issues, and making sure their banking experience is smooth and stress-free.


Key Responsibilities

As a Client Care Agent, your main duties will include:

  • Handling enquiries and complaints – You’ll attend to questions about account information, card transactions, and other banking-related issues.
  • Providing administrative support – Assisting clients with account updates and ensuring their needs are resolved quickly.
  • Helping digital banking users – Supporting clients who use Capitec’s mobile app and online banking.

Experience Needed

  • Strong background in customer service.

  • Minimum Qualification: Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational.

  • Strong communication skills – being clear and professional on the phone.

Working Conditions

  • You must have a clear criminal and credit record.
  • Be willing to work shifts, weekends, or rotational standbys, as client care operates beyond the normal 9–5.
