About the Learnership Graduate Programme

The Citi South Africa Learnership Programme is a one-year full-time programme that gives recent graduates hands-on experience in the ICRM function. You will work closely with experienced professionals while learning how to identify, assess, and manage compliance risks within a complex and rapidly changing financial environment.

Throughout the year, you will gain valuable skills in compliance and risk management, making you highly competitive in the global job market.

At the end of the programme, graduates will have the opportunity to apply for permanent positions within Citi, making this a potential gateway to a long-term career in the company.


What You Will Do

During this programme, you will:

  • Learn how to identify and mitigate compliance risks in different business areas.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in any discipline with an average GPA of 65% or higher.
  • Maximum of 1 year of work experience (no experience required – graduates are welcome to apply).
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • A genuine interest in finance, banking, and compliance.
  • Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A high level of integrity and commitment to ethical decision-making.
