What’s the Job About?

As a Cleaner at Fancourt, you’ll be responsible for making sure all areas are kept spotless, tidy, and safe for guests and staff. Cleanliness is a huge part of what makes Fancourt stand out, and your role will be essential to maintaining that standard.

Your main duties will include:

• General cleaning and deep-cleaning of specific areas, surfaces, and equipment
• Making sure all assigned areas are kept sanitary and well-presented
• Reporting any maintenance issues to your supervisor
• Keeping an eye on cleaning supply levels and replenishing stock when needed
• Helping with ordering stock and coordinating deliveries
• Following all health and safety procedures to maintain a clean, safe environment
• Supporting a clean and positive environment for both staff and visitors

This role is physical and hands-on – so being energetic and fit is a must!

What You’ll Need to Qualify

You don’t need a degree or years of experience – just a good attitude, physical fitness, and a willingness to work as part of a dedicated team.

Here’s what you need:

• At least Grade 10 or equivalent
• Some general cleaning experience (preferred)
• Basic knowledge of handling cleaning chemicals
• Physically fit and able to move, carry, and clean for extended periods
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to work weekends, public holidays, and shifts
• Own accommodation in George or surrounding areas
• A friendly, respectful attitude and a focus on providing great service
