What You Will Be Doing as a Dispatch Clerk

Your daily duties will focus on monitoring, checking, recording, and making sure that deliveries are processed correctly. You will be working closely with drivers, supervisors, scanners, and other warehouse staff to make sure nothing goes missing or is recorded wrong.

Managing GIT and Store Deliveries

You will manage different GIT codes such as 6300, 2500, 2600, 2700, 1300, and 1400. This means you must track goods that are still in transport or not yet confirmed as delivered.

You will:

• Follow up with stores that have not captured deliveries
• Escalate problems when needed
• Monitor GITs during the day using FarEye
• Make sure stores follow the correct delivery capturing process

Working with FarEye, Scanners, and Systems

You will use FarEye and scanner devices to check delivery accuracy, route tracking, and truck movements. This includes:

• Making sure scanners are charged and ready for use
• Tracking scanner allocations
• Linking scanners to truck registrations
• Printing store documents for handover
• Confirming that all information in the system matches the physical stock

Your attention to detail will be very important because even a small mistake can affect deliveries.

Admin and Quality Control Tasks

Another big part of your job is handling documentation and quality checks. You will:

• Complete green log sheets for local stores
• Double-check paperwork for deliveries
• Perform seal-by-seal quality checks on at least five stores per shift
• Update TradeCloud documents for cross-border deliveries to Botswana, Eswatini, and Lesotho

You may also assist with loading stores onto the system using Qwix and make sure that any exceptions in FarEye are handled correctly.

Minimum Requirements to Apply

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following basic requirements:

Education

• You must have Matric / Grade 12
• A certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Administration is a bonus, but not required

Experience

• 1 to 2 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution centre, or logistics environment
• Experience with scanning, GIT control, or dispatch documentation is an advantage
• Familiarity with FarEye, WMS, or similar systems will boost your chances

• 07:00 – 16:30
• 09:00 – 18:00
• 10:00 – 20:00

Night Shifts

• 19:00 – 05:00
• 20:00 – 06:00

Your shift will be assigned based on the needs of the business. You must be willing to work both weekends and nights if required.
