📝 What Will You Be Doing?

As a Shop Assistant / Cashier, you’ll be the friendly face customers see at the checkout counter. You’ll help with sales, customer service, and keeping the store looking neat and inviting.

Your job duties will include:

• Operating the till – scan products and handle payments accurately
• Promoting the Clicks ClubCard and helping customers sign up
• Assisting customers with their shopping needs and offering great service
• Keeping the store tidy, clean, and shelves well-stocked
• Following all store rules and procedures
• Making customers feel good and pay less!

You’ll also help customers find what they need, let them know about specials or promotions, and always keep a big smile on your face!

🎓 What You Need to Apply

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric) is essential
• 50% or more in English and Maths (advantageous, not required)
• Basic computer skills
• Must be friendly, reliable, and good with people

Experience:

• No experience required, but working in retail or customer service is a bonus

• Able to do basic maths quickly and accurately
• Good communication skills (friendly and polite)
• Able to solve problems and stay calm under pressure
• Can follow instructions and work in a team
