What Is This Job About?

As a Pharmacist Assistant (Post Basic Qualified) at Clicks, your job is more than just counting pills. You’ll play a big role in making sure customers get the right medicines, support, and service they need. You’ll be handling admin work, helping manage prescriptions, and working closely with pharmacists to deliver outstanding healthcare support.

This job is located at the Central Pharmacy Centre, where you’ll help process scripts, manage patient profiles, and solve problems to keep things running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing (Job Duties)

Here’s what your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Talking to customers over the phone or in person with confidentiality and professionalism
• Capturing and managing prescriptions accurately
• Handling any questions or issues related to prescriptions
• Managing patient profiles and chronic medicine authorizations
• Supporting other departments as needed
• Making sure everything follows Clicks’ Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Your work will directly impact how patients feel and how well they’re taken care of – which means you’re not just doing admin, you’re making a real difference.

What You Need to Apply

If you’re interested, make sure you meet these minimum requirements:

✅ Qualifications:

• Further Education and Training Certificate: Pharmacist Assistance (Essential)

✅ Experience:

• At least 1 year experience working as a Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant

✅ Skills & Knowledge:

• Good knowledge of:
  • Over-the-counter (OTC) products
  • SAPC rules and pharmacy legal guidelines
  • Chronic medicine procedures
• Strong communication skills (must be bilingual, English required)
• Great with customers and teamwork
• Able to use MS Office and other computer systems
• High attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
• Good time management and able to work under pressure
• Ethical, honest, and always follows professional standards
