📚 What You’ll Learn

• Safety, Health, and Environment: Stay on top of health, safety, and risk regulations.
• Performance & Delivery: Get practical experience in mining operations, process optimization, and operational support.
• Technical Skills: Gain skills in equipment handling, mining techniques, and maintenance.
• Problem-Solving: Learn troubleshooting techniques to address minor issues in mining operations.

📝 Who Can Apply?

If you meet the following criteria, you’re eligible to apply:
✅ Age: 18-35 years old
✅ Education: Grade 12/ N3 Technical (with Maths Literacy or Mathematics) – Physical Science is a bonus!
✅ Experience: No formal experience required, but a passion for mining is essential.
✅ Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen with a valid ID.
✅ Driver’s License: A valid South African driver’s license is required.
✅ Location: Preference will be given to individuals from labour-sending areas of the Northern Cape.

💪 Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate in theoretical and practical training.
• Support mining operations by assisting with machine operations and process optimization.
• Maintain safety protocols and follow health and safety procedures.
• Work with local communities to promote Anglo American’s values and vision for sustainability.
• Document and submit daily training progress reports.
