Department of Employment and Labour Offers 454 UIF Client Service Officer Jobs Through PYEI


The Department of Employment and Labour, in partnership with the Presidential Youth Employment Initiative (PYEI), invites unemployed South African youth to apply for the UIF Client Service Officer Vacancies (454 Posts). This is one of the biggest youth hiring drives of 2025. The closing date for applications is 31 October 2025.

About the Opportunity

The UIF Client Service Officer positions are available across several Labour Centres and Satellite Offices in South Africa. This large-scale recruitment aims to improve service delivery and create more job opportunities for young people, especially those who have been struggling to find work.

Successful applicants will help people claim and manage their Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) benefits — a crucial service for thousands of South Africans.

Who Can Apply

To apply, you must have at least a Matric / Grade 12 certificate.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a UIF Client Service Officer, your job will focus on helping clients access their benefits smoothly and providing excellent service. Your main duties will include:

  • Screening and assisting clients who visit the labour centres

  • Registering payment continuation forms
  • Performing basic administrative and data capturing duties
  • Providing accurate information and guiding clients about UIF rules and procedures

You will be trained on the job, learning how the UIF system works and how to serve the public with professionalism and empathy.
