South Africa’s informal economy is huge. From spaza shops to township food stalls, millions of families depend on it for daily income. But many of these businesses remain left out when it comes to digital tools, financial services, and formal growth opportunities.
The DIME Data Capturing Learnership 2025 is designed to close that gap. By training and mentoring small business owners, learners help local entrepreneurs access digital platforms, learn compliance requirements, and adopt sustainable practices.
