What Is the Dispensary Support Learnership Programme?
This learnership is a full-time training opportunity that combines both classroom learning and on-the-job experience in a real pharmacy setting. What Will You Be Doing?
As a Dispensary Support Learner, your main job will be to help out in the pharmacy and support the team. Here’s what your tasks might include:

- Assisting with medicine sales (under supervision)
- Managing medicine stock on the shelves
- Interpreting prescriptions and understanding medication use
- Working with patient scripts and helping in the call centre
- Making sure all medicine is stored safely
- Helping with scheme authorisations for chronic conditions

Do You Qualify?
To apply for this learnership, you must meet the following requirements:
- You must have a Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
- Pure Mathematics (not Maths Literacy)
- Life Sciences or Physical Science
- Minimum average of 50% across all subjects
- You must be a South African citizen
- You must not already have a pharmacist assistant qualification
- You must not be registered with the SAPC
- Be willing to commit to the full learnership period
- Be able to work shifts, including weekends
