What Does a Retail Store Assistant Do?

• Monitor and control high-risk stock
• Assist in stock movement and reporting where needed

Administrative Duties

• Maintain accurate document control for floats, petty cash, and cash on hand
• Prepare daily operational reports and reconciliations
• Assist with general store administration tasks

Operational Support

• Support the Receiving Manager when needed
• Maintain effective communication between departments and stakeholders
• Ensure store operations follow company policies and procedures

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered for this role:

Education

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate

Technical Skills

Candidates should have:

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Knowledge of SAP systems (advantageous)

Experience

• Previous retail experience is required
