Job Purpose

As a Store Cleaner, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe environment across the store, including:

Shop floor
Stock room
Dispensary
Admin office
Staff canteen

Minimum Requirements

Essential:

Grade 12 / Matric
At least 6 months of cleaning experience
Good English communication skills
Basic customer service skills
Willing to work retail hours

Advantageous:

Bilingual (English + local language)
Experience cleaning in a retail store environment

Key Responsibilities

Maintain high hygiene standards in all store areas.
Clean restrooms and staff areas regularly, ensuring they are fully stocked.
Be on standby during trading hours for spot cleaning.
Use the correct cleaning products and equipment for different tasks.
Follow health and safety procedures, including placing wet floor signs.
Assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Physically fit and able to stand, walk, bend, and lift items

Must be a South African citizen
Reliable transport or live near the Pinecrest store
