What You’ll Do

As a Fidelity Firefighter, you’ll be on the frontlines, responding to fire emergencies, rescues, and hazardous incidents while keeping people and property safe.

Your responsibilities will include:

Responding to fires, accidents, and rescue operations.
Handling hazardous substance incidents safely.
Performing basic medical care and first aid.
Operating and maintaining firefighting vehicles and equipment.
Conducting fire safety training and inspections.
Keeping accurate records of daily activities and emergency responses.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Requirements

To qualify, you must have:

Grade 12 / Matric
NFPA 1001 Firefighter II Certification (IFSAC Accredited)
2 – 3 years of firefighting experience
Valid Code C1 Driver’s License with PrDP
Physically and medically fit
First Aid Levels 1–3
Hazmat experience and knowledge
EMT certification (advantageous)
Clear criminal record
