As a General Assistant, your daily tasks will include:
✅ Helping customers: Providing friendly and professional service to ensure they have a great shopping experience.
✅ Achieving sales targets: Working towards daily, weekly, and monthly goals to increase store performance.
✅ Stock management: Making sure merchandise is always available and displayed properly.
✅ Store upkeep: Keeping the store clean and organized to create a welcoming shopping environment.
✅ Cash and asset protection: Following store policies to protect stock, cash, and other valuable assets.
✅ Teamwork: Working closely with your teammates to ensure smooth store operations.
✅ Administration tasks: Assisting with lay-byes, markdowns, and stockroom organization.
✔ Matric (Grade 12) Certificate – A must-have!
✔ Good communication skills – You need to be able to interact with customers and team members effectively.
✔ Customer service experience – Prior retail or customer service experience is an advantage.
✔ Computer literacy – Basic knowledge of computers will be helpful.
✔ Attention to detail – Accuracy is important, especially when handling stock and cash.
✔ Ability to work under pressure – Retail can be fast-paced, so you need to handle stress well.
