As a General Assistant (P27), you’ll play a vital role in keeping the store running smoothly while ensuring every customer leaves with a positive shopping experience.

What You’ll Be Doing as a General Assistant

The main purpose of this role is to provide excellent customer service while helping the store achieve its daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals. You’ll work closely with other team members to keep the store organized, well-stocked, and welcoming for customers.

Your duties will include:

Helping customers with their purchases in a friendly and professional manner.
Making sure the store looks neat and merchandise is well presented.
Assisting with merchandise replenishment (restocking shelves and displays).
Protecting company assets, including stock, cash, equipment, staff, and customers.
Supporting the achievement of store sales targets.
Following all company policies and procedures to ensure smooth store operations.
Managing stockroom tasks such as mark-downs and lay-byes.
Maintaining high housekeeping standards in the store.
