Your Role as a Sales Assistant

As a Sales Assistant, you will help ensure the store runs smoothly while delivering top-notch customer service. You will also be responsible for helping the store meet its sales targets and maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming shopping space.

Key responsibilities include:

Meeting and exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
Protecting company assets, including stock, cash, and store equipment.
Following all company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient store environment.
Maintaining the correct store and department layout for a pleasant shopping experience.
Assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Managing stock room activities, including mark-downs and lay-byes.
Ensuring products are well-stocked and neatly displayed at all times.
Upholding high standards of housekeeping in the store.

Qualifications and Experience Needed

To be considered for this position, you will need:

Matric / Grade 12 certificate – this is a minimum requirement.
Previous sales experience – even basic experience counts.
