Your Daily Responsibilities
Here’s what you’ll be doing as a Sales Assistant:
- Help customers find products and answer any questions they may have.
- Handle sales at the till and make sure all payments are processed correctly.
- Make sure the shop floor and stock room are neat, clean, and organized.
- Restock shelves and displays so that merchandise is always available.
- Follow proper procedures for stock control, markdowns, and lay-byes.
- Work with your team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Protect all assets including stock, cash, and store equipment by following company policies.
- Keep track of stock levels and report any problems to management.
- Handle customer concerns in a polite and professional way.
- Assist with visual merchandising to make the store attractive to customers.
What You Need To Apply

Education:
- You must have completed Matric (Grade 12).
Experience:
- Previous sales or retail experience is required.
Skills & Qualities:
