About the Role

As a Sales & Service Consultant at EasyPay Everywhere, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service while driving digital banking solutions. You will assist clients with everything from account activations to resolving queries and educating them on how to use various financial products.

Your goal will be to build strong customer relationships, ensure smooth account services, and encourage clients to switch to digital platforms for a better, faster experience.

This role also gives you the chance to earn while learning, as you will be responsible for meeting sales targets while delivering top-notch service.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Customer Service and Engagement

  • Engage with customers to fully understand their needs and provide the right solutions.
  • Help customers with account activations, card issuing, and resolving queries.
  • Ensure all customer information is verified and protected in line with FICA, POPI, and NCR regulations.
  • Handle customer complaints and escalate issues outside your authority to the team leader.
  • Promote digital channels to customers to improve service efficiency.

2. Sales and Revenue Generation

  • Meet sales targets by successfully converting leads into active customers.
  • Encourage customers to adopt digital services and move away from cash transactions.
  • Retain customers by providing excellent service and timely support.
  • Prevent account closures by resolving issues before they escalate.

3. Compliance and Risk Management

  • Always operate within company policies and industry regulations, including FAIS.
  • Follow Treat Customers Fairly (TCF) principles in all interactions.
  • Accurately complete all compliance checks and maintain proper documentation.
  • Report potential risks or irregularities to management.

4. Teamwork and Collaboration

  • Work closely with team members to achieve common goals.
  • Support colleagues when needed and maintain a positive team spirit.
  • Be open to feedback and guidance from senior staff.

Qualifications Needed

To be considered for this position, you need to have the following:

  • Minimum Qualification: NQF Level 4 (Matric or equivalent).
  • Preferred Qualification: NQF Level 5 or higher in a business-related field.
  • Regulatory Exam (RE) qualification is required.
  • A relevant business diploma or higher certificate at NQF Level 6 would be an advantage.
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office knowledge.

Experience Required

  • 1 – 2 years of relevant work experience in sales, customer service, or financial services.
  • Must be FAIS compliant and have experience working with regulatory standards.
