Ehlanzeni TVET College Invites Young South Africans to Apply for Their Electrical Apprenticeship Program (20 Posts). The closing date for applications is 19 May 2025.

Are you a young South African looking for a way to build a better future? If you’re not studying, working, or training right now, this opportunity is perfect for you. Ehlanzeni TVET College is offering a free Electrical Apprenticeship Program that will give you real-world skills to start your career. There are 20 open spots, and training will happen at the Mlumati Campus. This program also comes with a monthly stipend of R2,500 – so you get paid while you learn.

Whether you want to get a job or even open your own business as a qualified electrician, this program can help you get there.

What is the Electrical Apprenticeship Program?

This program is designed to give unemployed youth practical training in electrical work. It’s like going to school, but instead of just reading books, you’ll actually learn how to work with electricity and tools. The training is hands-on and prepares you to become a qualified artisan.

You’ll be trained by professionals who know the industry, and by the end of the program, you’ll have the knowledge and skills needed to find a job or even start your own small electrical business.

And the best part? You don’t have to pay anything. You’ll even receive R2,500 per month while you’re in the program.

Who Can Apply?

This program is not for everyone. To qualify, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a South African citizen
  • Not older than 35 years
  • Meet the NEET criteria (Not in Employment, Education, or Training)
  • Have NCV Level 4 in Engineering, or N2 Engineering Theory (or something similar)
  • Must have Mathematics and Science – this is important and not optional

If you meet these requirements, then this opportunity is for YOU.

Where Will the Training Happen?

All training will take place at:

Ehlanzeni TVET College – Mlumati Campus
Tonga Road, Kamhlushwa Township, Malelane, 1120

This is where you’ll get to learn and work with tools, wires, and real equipment to help you become a qualified electrical artisan.

How to Apply?

To apply, you need to do the following:

  1. Prepare your CV
  2. Get certified copies of your qualifications and ID
  3. Hand deliver them to:

Ehlanzeni TVET College, Mlumati Campus
Tonga Road, Kamhlushwa Township, Malelane, 1120

Make sure your documents are clear and your contact details are up to date. If they can’t reach you, you might miss out on this opportunity.

Why Should You Apply?

  • You get paid R2,500 every month
  • You gain real skills that can lead to jobs or your own business
  • No fees required – it’s fully funded
  • You’ll become a qualified artisan – a career that’s always in demand
  • It’s a great way to break the cycle of unemployment

Important: Don’t Wait Too Long!

The closing date is 19 May 2025. That’s your deadline to hand in your documents. After that, no late applications will be accepted.

If you’re between the ages of 18 and 35, unemployed, and serious about your future, this is your chance to make a change. Don’t let it pass you by.

Start building your future today. Apply for the Ehlanzeni Electrical Apprenticeship Program before 19 May 2025!
