What You’ll Be Doing (Main Responsibilities) 🚨

Respond to emergency calls and provide medical assistance.
Ensure readiness for emergency situations.
Provide intermediate medical care as per scope of practice.
Maintain professionalism and promote a positive image of ER24.

Who Can Apply? (Minimum Requirements) ✅

Education:

Essential: Ambulance Emergency Assistant Certificate or Higher Certificate in Emergency Medical Care.
Desired: Completion of Clinical Practice Guidelines training from the Health Professions Council of South Africa (If not completed, successful candidates must complete this training during probation).

Experience:

Essential: At least 1 year of EMS experience.
Desired: 1 year of ILS experience.

Skills & Knowledge Required: 📚

Strong knowledge of best practices in emergency medical care.
Proficient in English (written and spoken).
Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
Familiar with HPCSA guidelines and emergency procedures.
Able to navigate travel routes and demographical areas efficiently.
Experience with Patient Report Forms and documentation.
