🛠️Job Overview – What You’ll Be Doing

As a General Worker in the Stores team, you will be helping with stock control, deliveries, cleanliness, and general operations that support the kitchen and food & beverage outlets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Timely delivery of stock and goods to different outlets across the resort
• Ensure all items are signed for during collection and delivery
• Check stock carefully when receiving (expiry dates, quality, quantities, and invoices)
• Keep the stores clean and organized based on daily checklists
• Assist with stocktaking and inventory when needed
• Support other teams or departments when assigned additional tasks or projects

You’ll be part of a dedicated team making sure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly – a crucial role in delivering the high standard Fancourt is known for.

✅What You Need to Qualify

To be considered, you must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in:
  • Food & Beverage as a waitron or barman OR
  • A similar store or stock room role within a 4-star or 5-star hospitality environment
• Basic computer literacy (SAP experience is a bonus)
• Driver’s license is an advantage (not required but helpful)
• Be physically and mentally fit – this job involves lifting and standing
• Must be willing to work weekends, public holidays, and shifts
• Must have own accommodation in George or nearby
