Requirements to Apply

A Matric (Grade 12) certificate
NFPA 1001 Firefighter II Certification (IFSAC Accredited)
At least 2–3 years of real firefighting experience
A valid C1 driver’s license with PrDP
Advanced driving skills are a bonus
Medically and physically fit (you’ll be tested)
Good knowledge of fire safety systems and emergency equipment
Hazmat certification and experience
EMT and First Aid certifications (Levels 1–3)
Clean criminal record
Ability to respond quickly under pressure
Strong communication, admin, and teamwork skills
