What Will You Be Doing? (Your Job Duties)

As a Grade C Vehicle Patrol Officer, your daily tasks will be very important. You’ll be part of a team that takes care of the safety of clients, their families, and their property. Here are some of the main things you’ll be doing:

• Patrol different locations and respond quickly when a client’s alarm goes off
• Know the area very well so you can take the fastest and safest routes
• Make sure you’re on time and follow the company’s response time rules
• Visit client premises, especially after serious incidents, and offer support
• Check each property thoroughly and always put the client’s safety first
• Listen to clients and show understanding, especially during stressful situations
• Keep clients updated with clear and honest feedback
• Follow uniform rules and look neat and professional at all times
• Do daily inspections of your vehicle and complete reports
• Always follow radio procedures when talking to control rooms
• Attend training sessions and meetings when needed
• Keep your office or workspace neat and clean
• Avoid making personal calls on the company’s phone
