FIRE FIGHTER LEARNERSHIP 2024

Positions live for the use and operation of Firefighters within the Fidelity Group to respond and deal with any and all fire related incidents.

The main liabilities include but aren’t limited to response of Fire incidents and firefighting, exigency deliverance services, rendering introductory medical care, fire forestallment and training conditioning, operating and maintaining of firefighting outfit and outfit and all affiliated work as needed under supervision in order to cover the lives and property of the guests of the Fidelity Group.

Crucial areas of responsibility( Not completely inclusive) carries out firefighting conditioning and exigency operations under guidance, mentorship and supervision of seniors and officer- in- charge by

Responding to fires, rescues and related exigency andnon-emergency philanthropic incidents

Responding to incidents involving dangerous substances

Extricating and/or releasing casualties and conducting exigency operations as directed by the position of authority
Resuscitating and treating injured persons and conducting exigency operations as directed by coming position authority
Operating a range of outfit to control, manage and extinguish fires
Operating mobile and fixed breathing outfit
Undertaking fire protection duties in situations that potentially hang lives or property and having available applicable outfit as directed by administrators
Preparing for exigency incidents and protection duties under the guidance, mentorship and supervision of seniors and officers in charge share in training drills, simulation exercises and physical fitness training as directed

To train all applicable workers on the proposition and practice necessary to fight fires

Advise on precautionary and corrective conduct. Conduct health and safety examinations to insure a safe terrain
apply the applicable procedures, strategies and use the proper outfit to promote original or public security conditioning for the protection of data, people, institutions and property

Perform introductory position conservation on outfit to insure functional readiness

Checking, drawing, testing and maintaining vehicles and outfit

Complete computerised circumstance log in order to maintain proper records of diurnal incidents

Qualifications, experience and other capabilities needed

• Grade 12 as a minimum academy qualification
  IFSAC Accredited
  NFPA 1001 Firefighter 2 instrument
• Firefighter II instrument
• Firefighting training and at least 2 times related experience are essential
  Valid, unendorsed vehicle motorist’s license
  Advanced driving experience profitable
• Medically and physically fit
• Good understanding and practice of Fire forestallment procedures
• Knowledge of Fire- fighting systems( videlicet systems used to extinguish fires, the classes and chemistry of fire
• Clear felonious record.
• Capability to reply within effective time frames to exigency situations
• Administration, interpersonal communication and client liaison chops are needed.
• Hazmat experience and knowledge
  EMT instrument
• First Aid situations 1 to 3

Core capabilities

Sound understanding of abecedarian rudiments related to firefighter educator operations within an functional part.

Strong communication chops, both verbal and written

Sound understanding of the Hazmat guidelines

Sound understanding of the Security Industry and how to act within the law of conduct of the Group and Regulatory Authority.
