💼 What You’ll Be Doing

As a Passenger Services Trainee, you’ll work closely with the ground handling team to ensure a smooth airport experience for every traveler. Your duties will include:

✅ Check-in Queue Management – Guide passengers to correct lines
✅ Check-in Closure Support – Help fast-track late passengers
✅ Baggage Tagging Assistance – Support with tagging for families/groups
✅ Document Preparedness – Encourage ID readiness
✅ Special Needs Support – Prioritize elderly passengers and families
✅ Hand Luggage Monitoring – Check bags with sizing bins
✅ Payment Processing – Use POS devices for baggage fee payments
✅ Security Queue Help – Guide passengers through security prep
✅ Queue Fast-Tracking – Assist passengers with urgent departures
✅ Keep Areas Neat – Maintain a tidy queue and check-in zone
✅ General Passenger Help – Offer directions to gates, restrooms, etc.

✅ Requirements

To qualify, you must:

• ✔️ Be 18 years or older
• ✔️ Be fluent in English
• ✔️ Be able to cope with pressure
• ✔️ Have strong communication & customer service skills
• ✔️ Have good time management
• ✔️ Have your own transport
• ✔️ Be well-groomed and professional

🟢 Preference is given to family members of FlySafair staff and members of under-represented designated groups.
