As part of the Human Resources team, you’ll help ensure that all employee time, attendance, and payroll data are accurate, up to date, and processed on time. To qualify for this position, applicants must have a Grade 12 certificate with Mathematics or Accounting as one of the subjects. In addition, you should hold a National Diploma in Human Resource Management, Financial Management, or Accounting. Having proven experience in HR administration is essential, as well as being comfortable with technology. You’ll need to have a high level of computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. A CRS Payroll Certificate will be an added advantage.

Candidates should also have at least two years of experience working with Time and Attendance (TNA) systems. You must be able to work independently, stay motivated, and maintain confidentiality at all times. Foskor is looking for someone who pays close attention to detail, takes ownership of their work, and values accuracy. Customer service experience or training will also help you perform well in this role.

Your main responsibilities will include capturing and processing payroll input on the system, ensuring that all data is accurate and aligned with Time and Attendance information. You will be responsible for managing the recording of normal working hours, overtime, acting allowances, and leave details. This means checking every detail carefully and making sure that information is processed on time for payroll runs.

You will also be required to verify data and take action to correct any discrepancies before payroll submission. This includes identifying and reconciling any differences in attendance or payment records according to company procedures. The role also involves capturing, importing, and exporting Time and Attendance data for both shift and non-shift employees to ensure smooth payroll processing.

As an HR Assistant, you’ll work closely with other departments to provide reports, authorise exception records, and make sure that every employee’s information is handled correctly. Your role will directly affect how efficiently the HR department operates and how satisfied employees are with payroll accuracy.

This position requires a person who can manage deadlines, communicate clearly, and stay organized under pressure. You’ll need to handle confidential employee data responsibly and maintain professionalism at all times. Attention to small details, accuracy, and problem-solving skills are essential in this job.
