🧠 What You’ll Be Doing

As an Assistant Store Manager, your job is to ensure the store runs smoothly. You’ll be responsible for training staff, managing stock, creating a safe and appealing space, and making sure customers are always happy.

Here’s a breakdown of your key duties:

💼 Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Service Leadership

• Lead the sales team by example and ensure targets are met (UPT, ATV, Turnover)
• Support and coach staff to provide top-tier customer service
• Oversee floor operations and zoning schedules

2. Visual Merchandising (VM)

• Execute VM guidelines and submit weekly visuals
• Keep the store visually sharp — product must be steamed, tagged, and priced correctly
• Train team on visual standards and ensure consistent styling

3. Inventory Control

• Receive and process stock on the same day
• Tag, hang, steam, price, and record stock accurately
• Organize stockroom for fast replenishment
• Conduct weekly and monthly stock counts, report accurate data
• Follow and enforce loss prevention practices

4. Daily Store Operations

• Manage staff attendance, opening/closing, and POS systems
• Handle cash-ups, refunds, exchanges, and maintain store cleanliness
• Support compliance with all internal processes and alert operations when needed

✅ What You’ll Need to Apply

• Matric (Grade 12) – Compulsory
• Bachelor’s Degree – Advantageous
• 1–2 years of experience in retail management
• Proven customer management and leadership skills
• Strong business acumen and understanding of retail processes
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
