Position Overview:

As a senior leader in our stores, you will be responsible for ensuring an outstanding shopping experience for our customers while driving store profitability. You’ll lead your team by managing day-to-day sales operations, merchandising, and customer service functions to achieve excellent store performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Experience:

  • Ensure all associates greet, thank, and assist customers promptly and courteously.
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints quickly.
  • Implement and monitor customer experience initiatives and action plans.

Sales:

  • Analyze market trends and develop strategies to improve sales.
  • Support and motivate teams to exceed sales targets.
  • Monitor and control store expenses to maximize profitability.

Stock Loss:

  • Enforce security measures and risk management procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with stock take procedures and minimize shrinkage.

Inventory Management:

  • Ensure stock levels align with sales performance and merchandising plans.
  • Manage aged and obsolete stock according to company procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of core and promotional product displays.

Leadership:

  • Coach, train, and develop store associates to meet store standards.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and talent development processes.
  • Foster a culture of integrity, respect, and service excellence among team members.

General Management:

  • Ensure compliance with OHASA, stock loss, and company audits.
  • Oversee store maintenance, cleanliness, and safety standards.
  • Stay updated on retail trends and competitor activities.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

Matric (Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous).

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years’ retail experience in a senior management role.
