Your Daily Responsibilities as a General Worker

At Premier FMCG, General Workers are super important. You’ll be helping make sure products are packed, checked, and ready for customers. Here’s what you’ll be doing every day:

Remove materials and finished products from machines and equipment by hand.
Stack and pack finished products neatly onto pallets.
Carefully check materials and products to spot any problems or damages.
Add the correct manufacturing date and shift information onto each case.
Help with any other physical work that is needed in the packing area.
Carry and move heavy items (up to about 25 kilograms).
Always keep your working area clean, neat, and safe.
Fill out important forms and tickets properly with all the needed details.

It’s a busy, hands-on job where you’ll always be moving and making sure everything runs smoothly!

What You Need to Qualify

This job doesn’t need a fancy degree, but you do need to meet a few simple requirements:

You must have a Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
Good with numbers – you must be able to work with quantities and basic counting.
At least one year of experience working in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry will be a bonus.
