They are hiring 4 General Workers to join their Products Division based in Montague Gardens, Cape Town. This job is ideal for people who don’t mind physical work, enjoy being part of a team, and want to be part of something bigger. Even if you don’t have a forklift license, you can still apply – but having one is a bonus.

What Does This Job Involve?

As a General Worker at Ecowize, you’ll help keep the factory running smoothly. Your day will include a mix of activities that make sure products are made, packaged, and sent out safely and correctly. Your main tasks will include:

Cleaning and Checking Containers: You’ll clean out used containers, remove labels, and make sure they’re safe to use again.
Getting Materials Ready: You’ll pick the right materials, weigh them accurately, label them properly, and get them ready for production.
Helping in the Production Process: You’ll assist with mixing and blending, and help transfer materials between machines.
Labelling and Decanting: You’ll label raw and finished goods clearly, and pour materials into correct packaging.
Housekeeping Duties: You’ll help keep work areas clean, safe, and organized.
Using a Forklift (if licensed): If you’re trained, you’ll move materials with a forklift to make things faster and safer.

This is a hands-on role that keeps you active and engaged all day. You’ll be part of a supportive team and contribute directly to the success of the company.

Who Can Apply?

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 10 school qualification
6 months to 1 year of experience in a factory or similar work environment
Comfortable doing manual work in a fast-paced setting
Able to read instructions and understand basic labels
Forklift license is a plus but not required
Previous work in the chemical industry is a bonus
