🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:

As a General Worker, your job is to support the day-to-day operations in various departments, including the workshop, warehouse, and manufacturing. You’ll help skilled tradespeople, operate tools, and ensure everything runs smoothly.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

🧹 Cleaning & Maintenance

• Keep tools and equipment clean
• Sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize work areas

📦 Loading & Lifting

• Carry and move heavy boxes or items
• Load/unload delivery trucks
• Help manage stock and inventory

🛠️ Assisting Tradespeople

• Help carpenters and other skilled workers
• Follow instructions to install projects and components

✅ Safety Compliance

• Stick to all safety rules
• Report any damage or faults to your supervisor
• Keep the workshop safe and clean

🏭 Warehouse Duties

• Use hand tools
• Pack, weigh, and assist with general manual work

🪵 Carpentry Assistance

• Measure, cut, sand, and prepare materials
• Assemble and install items with guidance

⚙️ Material & Equipment Handling

• Work with wood, aluminium, and more
• Use machines like saws, sanders, moulders, and hand tools

📋 Requirements:

• ✅ Matric Certificate
• ✅ Must be able to read and write in English
• ✅ Must know how to use a tape measure
• ✅ Experience in carpentry or manufacturing is a big plus
• ✅ Driver’s License (advantageous)
