Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Grade 11 or equivalent NQF4 qualification.
• Valid Blasting Certificate for Metalliferous Mines.
• Competency A and B certificates.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in Trackless Mining.
• Exposure to TMM, Conventional Development, Stoping, and Hydropower Drilling.
• Mining Production Supervisor Certificate (advantageous, not mandatory).
• Proficiency in English plus one other South African official language.
• Computer literacy (advantageous).
• Valid South African driver’s licence (Code 8–10).
• South African citizenship.
• Clear criminal record.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Provide technical support and best practices in designated mining sections.
• Plan, supervise, and control subordinates in both stoping and development ends.
• Ensure blasting activities in your assigned area are executed safely and efficiently, achieving production goals.
• Monitor and ensure equipment and material availability for optimal production.
