📦 What Does a Picker & Packer Do?

As a Picker & Packer at H System, your job will be to pick and pack customer orders accurately and assist in maintaining an organized warehouse.

🛒 Picking Duties:

✔ Select the correct stock from the picking slip
✔ Double-check items to avoid errors
✔ Record product details (weights, dimensions, etc.)
✔ Report any issues with product quantity or quality

📦 Packing Duties:

✔ Pack products securely to avoid damage
✔ Wrap items according to company procedures
✔ Ensure products are placed in the correct area for dispatch
✔ Load packed products onto delivery vehicles

🚚 Warehouse Assistance:

✔ Load and unload stock from vehicles and containers
✔ Help with receiving deliveries
✔ Assist with collections from customers
✔ Keep stock organized and neatly displayed
✔ Conduct stock counts when required

🦺 Health & Safety (SHEQ Compliance):

✔ Follow all Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) rules
✔ Keep your work area clean and hazard-free
✔ Wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
✔ Report any unsafe conditions or accidents immediately

🔎 Who Can Apply? (Job Requirements)

📜 Qualifications:
✅ Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent

💼 Experience:
✅ Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse work is a big plus!

📊 Skills & Knowledge:
✅ Basic math skills (for counting stock)
✅ Familiarity with ISO safety and quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 45001, etc.)
✅ Strong attention to detail

💪 Physical Requirements:
✅ Must be able to carry heavy materials (requires stamina & strength)

🚗 Bonus Skills (Not Required, But Preferred):
✅ Experience working with aluminium profiles, systems, or accessories
✅ Valid driver’s license (Code 8)
✅ Valid forklift license
