Performing easy lab tests like DO (Dissolved Oxygen) and MBAS (a basic soap test).
Cleaning lab tools and keeping the workspace neat and tidy.
Handling gas bottles and getting rid of dangerous chemicals in a safe way.
Following safety rules and keeping the lab environment clean and safe.

What Should You Know to Do Well in This Job?

A basic understanding of ISO 17025 (a lab quality standard).
Knowing how to use different tools to collect water samples.
Following proper lab and safety procedures (SHERQ).
Staying focused and following instructions carefully during routine tasks.
