Job Grade: 01

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with general duties, including cleaning floors and handling company assets within the Packaging Department.
• Follow reasonable instructions from competent authorities to ensure operational efficiency.
• Report any breakages or waste to the Production Controller.
• Suggest improvements that can save time or reduce costs.

• Contribute to quality assurance efforts and ensure maximum productivity of the team.
• Participate in MBA (Mini Business Activities) and meetings to enhance teamwork and performance.
• Assist with stock take and adhere to company health and safety regulations.
• Identify losses and waste in the area and participate in waste reduction exercises.

Requirements:

Education: Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.

Experience:

• 1–2 years of experience as a General Worker in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in Packaging or a similar environment is advantageous.

Skills:

• Knowledge of safe working procedures.
• Ability to work under pressure and within a team.
• Must be physically healthy and capable of performing strenuous duties.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including night shifts, extended overtime, and weekends.

Job Grade: 02

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily forklift checks and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Transport crates, pallets, and full pallets between departments.
• Stack empty and full pallets within the Dry Goods environment.
• Offload crates, pallets, bottles, and packaging materials from delivery vehicles.
• Maintain daily housekeeping and provide effective and efficient service to relevant customers.

Requirements:

Education: Matric (Grade 12)

Skills and Experience:

Valid forklift license.

Proven experience in a packaging environment.

Ability to work independently and handle pressure.

Must be willing to work shifts and extended overtime.
