This job is part of the Customer Services and Logistics team, and you’ll be reporting to the Customer Services Supervisor. It’s a hands-on role where you’ll help with getting products ready for delivery, making sure everything is packed properly, and following safety rules. 💼What You’ll Be Doing:

Here are some of the day-to-day duties you’ll be responsible for:

• Report anything wrong—like broken equipment or missing stock—to your Driver right away.
• Suggest ideas that could help the company save money or do things better.
• Help load and unload delivery vehicles (called sprinters).
• Make sure all products are packed properly and safely for delivery.
• Keep an eye on packaging to make sure nothing is stacked badly or labelled wrong.
• Treat all products with care—no rough handling!
• Follow instructions from your supervisor, Driver, or Logistics Controller.
• Check that loads are secure before the truck leaves for delivery.
• Help out with other general duties like placing jacks under trailers, connecting and disconnecting them, and sealing them for delivery.
• Keep in touch with your manager about any issues at work.
• Clean up your work area and follow housekeeping rules.
• Follow all health and safety rules strictly.
• Always wear your safety gear (PPE) provided by the company.
• Clean the delivery vehicle when asked by the Driver or Manager.
• Do other small jobs when needed by your supervisor.
• Try to help the company save money by working smart and looking after the equipment.
• Follow all company rules and always look for ways to improve how things are done.

🎓What You Need to Apply:

Education:

• You must have a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.

Experience:

• At least 6 months of experience in a similar job is preferred.
• If you’ve worked in the alcoholic beverage industry, that’s a bonus!
• You must have strong customer service skills.
• A valid delivery vehicle license (Code EC / PDP) is required.
• If you have a commercial driver’s license, that’s also a big plus.
• You should be able to read and speak English clearly.
• Must be able to work well in a team and alone.
• You need to be a careful and responsible driver.
