🎯 What is This Learnership About?

This NQF 3 Packaging Operations Learnership is designed to provide practical work experience for students who have finished Grade 12 or hold a relevant N qualification. No prior work experience is needed!

You’ll get hands-on training in a real work environment, learning essential skills in packaging, quality control, problem-solving, and maintenance. This is a paid opportunity that can open doors for your future career in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry!

🛠️ What You’ll Learn (Job Responsibilities)

During the 12-month program, you’ll be trained in the following:
✔️ Filling & Date Coding – Understanding how beverage filling lines work
✔️ Sealing & Labelling – Ensuring products are correctly packaged
✔️ Packing & Unpacking – Preparing stock for distribution
✔️ First-Line Maintenance – Learning basic machine troubleshooting
✔️ Problem-Solving Techniques – Identifying and fixing common issues
✔️ Health & Safety Regulations – Working safely in a manufacturing plant
✔️ Quality Control – Checking for defects and ensuring product quality
✔️ Asset Management – Taking care of company equipment and materials

📌 Who Can Apply? (Requirements)

✅ Must be a South African Citizen
✅ Grade 12 (Matric) with Pure Mathematics & English
✅ OR Relevant N Qualification
✅ Preference given to those with a tertiary qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
✅ Technically minded with strong problem-solving skills
✅ Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
✅ Must be willing to work shifts/extended hours when required
✅ Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
✅ Must pass a formal assessment if shortlisted
