Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations in the butchery area.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the butchery area and meat display fridge.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene policies.
• Weigh, price, and package meat products accurately.

• Assist customers in selecting products and addressing their needs.
• Pack meat into retail or bulk packaging for sale.
• Ensure that all meat is fresh and properly packed.
• Assist with stock takes and follow management instructions as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 is essential.
• Knowledge of meat preparation techniques and cuts.
• Prior experience in a butchery environment is an advantage.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Must demonstrate integrity, honesty, and reliability.
