As a Receptionist at Herotel, you will be the first person that customers, visitors, and even staff see when they come through the doors. This means you’ll be a key part of the team – making people feel welcome, keeping the front area neat, and making sure things run smoothly.

  • Helping management with admin work when needed.
  • Handling mail and couriers, making sure everything is delivered correctly.
  • Filing documents and making sure all files are up to date.

What Skills Do You Need?

To do this job well, Herotel is looking for someone who already has experience working as a receptionist. You must be good with people, computers, and time management. Here’s a full list of what they need:

  • At least 2 years of receptionist experience.
  • Able to use Microsoft Office (like Word and Excel).
  • Confident with customer service – being polite and helpful is a must.
  • Someone who is reliable and can be trusted to get the job done.
  • Able to work well in a team and communicate clearly.
  • Good at solving small problems on the spot.
  • Can manage time well and handle different tasks at once.
  • Well-groomed and professional in appearance.
  • Can speak and understand both English and Afrikaans.
  • Able to follow instructions properly.

Education Needed

You must have at least a Grade 12 certificate (Matric) or any qualification that is the same as NQF Level 4.
