About the Role

As a 24-Hour Flexi Sales Associate, your main mission is simple — help customers find exactly what they need and make sure they leave happy. You’ll greet shoppers, explain products, close sales, and handle all the details that make the buying process smooth.

You’ll be working shifts, which may include weekends and public holidays. The role is short-term contract-based but offers a great chance to prove your skills and possibly open the door to future opportunities with HomeChoice.


What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Turn store visitors into paying customers by showing them products and explaining their features.
  • Understand customer needs and suggest the best options based on their preferences and budget.
  • Accurately handle order capturing, documentation, and pricing.
  • Resolve customer questions or complaints in a friendly and professional way.
  • Manage payments, refunds, and credits.
  • Keep the store looking neat and well-organized.
  • Track stock levels, restock shelves, and help with inventory counts.
  • Maintain detailed records and complete admin tasks on time.

What You Need to Apply

To qualify for this position, you should have:

  • Matric/Grade 12 (minimum requirement).
  • At least 1 year of experience in retail sales.
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Experience in the homewares retail industry is a plus, but not essential.
