About the Role

As an AGI Truck Operator, you will play a key role in the smooth and safe delivery of fibre-Crete and concrete within the mining site. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and operating the concrete agitator truck, ensuring timely delivery, and keeping all equipment in excellent working condition. This is a hands-on job that requires precision, teamwork, and attention to detail.

What You’ll Need to Qualify

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
• A valid Certificate of Competence for operating a fixed hydraulic jackhammer (pecker)
• A valid EB Driver’s License

Having these qualifications ensures that you can operate the machinery safely and meet the technical demands of the position.

Required Work Experience

In addition to the qualifications above, applicants must have:

• At least two (2) years of experience in a similar role
• Proven experience operating an Agi Truck Machine

Candidates with previous experience in mining or construction environments will have a strong advantage, especially those who understand the importance of working safely and efficiently underground.

Key Responsibilities

As an AGI Truck Operator at Ivanplats, your main duties will include:

• Safely and efficiently delivering fibre-Crete and concrete to designated areas within the mine
• Loading, delivering, and unloading materials with care and precision
• Ensuring proper maintenance and cleanliness of the concrete agitator truck and all related equipment
• Following safety standards and ensuring compliance with the ASQ Document Management System (Operational and WHSE)
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards in your work area
