Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must have:

• A Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
• Good knowledge of hygiene and housekeeping
• Awareness of health and safety in the workplace
• Ability to speak and write in English
• Good communication and team skills
• Supervisory skills will be a bonus (but not required)
• Know how to use tools properly and take care of them

Job Responsibilities

As a General Worker, you’ll help maintain the cleanliness and smooth running of the rest camp. Your daily duties will include:

• Cleaning chalets, ablution blocks, and surrounding areas
• Controlling and keeping track of inventory items
• Reporting broken equipment or anything unusual to your supervisor
• Keeping cleaning tools and equipment in top condition
• Helping with supplies collection when needed
• Performing general tasks in and around the rest camp
• Assisting with laundry duties
• Doing other tasks as assigned by your manager

You’ll be an essential part of the team that keeps the camp running smoothly and guests comfortable.
