Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must have:

A Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
Good knowledge of hygiene and housekeeping
Awareness of health and safety in the workplace
Ability to speak and write in English
Good communication and team skills
Supervisory skills will be a bonus (but not required)
Know how to use tools properly and take care of them

Job Responsibilities

As a General Worker, you’ll help maintain the cleanliness and smooth running of the rest camp. Your daily duties will include:

Cleaning chalets, ablution blocks, and surrounding areas
Controlling and keeping track of inventory items
Reporting broken equipment or anything unusual to your supervisor
Keeping cleaning tools and equipment in top condition
Helping with supplies collection when needed
Performing general tasks in and around the rest camp
Assisting with laundry duties
Doing other tasks as assigned by your manager

You’ll be an essential part of the team that keeps the camp running smoothly and guests comfortable.
