What You’ll Do in This Role

As an Operator in the Control Room, you will help monitor and manage the safety and security of the mine by handling all alarms, cameras, gate controls, and emergency communications.

Your tasks will include:

• Watching CCTV footage for suspicious activities and reacting quickly
• Responding to burglar or fire alarms using advanced systems
• Notifying security supervisors if patrols miss their scheduled routes
• Logging incidents in a computer-based tracking system
• Answering the 24/7 emergency hotline and dispatching support
• Controlling remote gates and monitoring vehicle access
• Performing radio checks and ensuring all radios are working
• Writing reports and helping with administration inside the control room
• Following safety protocols and keeping work areas clean and secure
