Job Overview: What You’ll Be Doing

As a Warehouse Associate at Maersk, you’ll be part of the frontline team. Your job will focus on picking, packing, and moving products accurately and on time. Here’s what you’ll be doing on a day-to-day basis:

Pick and pack orders based on what customers need.
Handle products carefully to avoid damage.
Use RF scanners to track inventory during picking and packing.
Work as a team, following directions from your team leader.
Keep your area clean and organized, following safety rules.
Help with loading and unloading trucks when shipments come in or go out.
Check for any damaged or missing stock and report it quickly.
Follow safety and company rules at all times.
Stick to the warehouse’s SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
Maintain 5S standards, which means keeping things sorted, clean, and ready to use.

Do You Qualify? Here’s What You Need:

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 / Matric or anything equal to it.
Warehouse experience is a big plus, but not always required.
Knowledge of warehouse systems (WMS) will give you an edge.
Must know how to use or learn RF scanners.
Be good at basic maths and reading.
Able to follow instructions clearly.
Punctual and dependable – showing up on time is a must.
Must be okay with working flexible hours, including weekends or overtime when needed.
