If you love working with people, organizing products, and creating eye-catching displays, this is the perfect opportunity! As a Merchandiser at MAKRO, you’ll play a key role in keeping the store looking great and making sure products sell well.
🚀 No degree? No problem! As long as you have Matric (Grade 12) and meet the requirements, you can apply!

Your job is to make sure the store looks good, products are displayed properly, and customers can find what they need. Here’s what a typical day will look like:
✔ Stock Counting & Displaying – Make sure shelves are stocked and products are easy to find
✔ Unpacking Stock – Document all new stock received
✔ Creating Attractive Displays – Use creativity to arrange products in a way that attracts customers
✔ Stock Monitoring – Keep track of what’s selling fast and what needs restocking
✔ Product Placement – Remove damaged or expired items and replace them with fresh stock
✔ Customer Assistance – Help shoppers find products and answer their questions
✔ Store Maintenance – Keep your area clean, tidy, and well-organized

To qualify, you must meet these basic requirements:
✔ Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
✔ Experience in Merchandising, Sales, or Customer Service
✔ Fluent in English
✔ Live within 15km of the job location
✔ Clear criminal record
✔ Own a smartphone with at least 10GB of storage
✔ Willing to travel between stores in your area

✔ Previous retail or merchandising experience
✔ Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
✔ Ability to work well in a team
