🛒Your Role as a Pharmacy Shop Assistant:

As a Pharmacy Shop Assistant, your main goal is to make shopping easy and pleasant for every customer who walks through the door. You’ll be the friendly face that helps them find what they need, handles payments, and keeps the store looking great.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Greeting customers and giving them a warm welcome.
Helping customers find products that suit their needs.
Handling payments at the till (cash, card, vouchers, etc.) and making sure receipts and balances are correct.
Restocking shelves and keeping products neat and easy to find.
Making sure the shop looks clean and well-organized at all times.
Keeping up to date with new products, promotions, and specials.
Staying on top of your product knowledge so you can give good advice.
Fixing price errors when needed by doing price checks.
Answering customer questions and passing bigger problems to your manager.
Following all store procedures to keep things running smoothly.

✅What You’ll Need:

You don’t need a lot of experience to apply—just the right attitude and a bit of retail knowledge!

Minimum Requirements:

A Grade 12 / Matric certificate is essential.
At least 5 months of experience working at a till or POS (Point of Sale) in a retail store.

Skills That Will Help You Stand Out:

Great people skills – you should enjoy talking and helping others.
Know how to use a computer and store systems.
Good understanding of customer service and payment handling.
Able to speak both English and Afrikaans (or at least one and understand the other).
Organized, neat, and pay attention to the little things.
Know how to receive stock and set up product displays.
Able to work under pressure in a busy environment.
