👀 Who Can Apply?

This opportunity is perfect for you if:
✔ You’re between 18 and 29 years old
✔ You’re a South African citizen
✔ You live close to the workplace (location details will be shared)
✔ You haven’t been part of YES before
✔ You don’t have a criminal record
✔ You can start work on 1 May 2025
✔ You’ve passed Grade 12 (extra qualifications are a bonus!)
✔ You have a valid driver’s license
✔ You’re physically fit (you’ll be climbing, lifting, and moving equipment)
✔ You can communicate well in English
✔ You’re good at planning and getting things done

💰 What’s the Salary?

You’ll earn a monthly stipend of R5000 for the 12-month programme. That’s money in your pocket while you learn and grow!

🔧 What Will You Do?

As a Building & Facilities Assistant, your job will include:
🔹 Inspecting buildings, grounds, and equipment to make sure everything’s working well
🔹 Fixing and maintaining things that need repairs
🔹 Installing equipment and appliances (you’ll learn how to handle tools safely)
🔹 Following safety rules to keep yourself and others safe
🔹 Reporting problems to the maintenance manager
🔹 Responding quickly when repairs are needed
🔹 Listening to instructions from your manager
🔹 Reading manuals to understand how things work
🔹 Using tools like power drills, plumbing gear, and electrical equipment (don’t worry—they’ll train you!)
