What You’ll Do as a General Worker

At Midas, your role will encompass various essential tasks that keep our warehouse in tip-top shape. Here’s a breakdown of your main responsibilities:

Binning and Inventory Management

• You’ll handle the binning of new stock and ensure inventory is moved from bulk storage to pick locations.
• New products need the right home, and you’ll assign them to their proper bin locations.
• Updating and maintaining bin records will be part of your daily routine, making sure everything stays organized.
• Assisting with replenishment is crucial to keep stock levels consistent and customer orders fulfilled on time.

Order Picking and Packing

• Picking customer orders promptly is key. You’ll ensure that every order is ready before the cut-off times.

Scanner Management

• Keeping a record of scanners in the electronic system is a part of the job, along with reporting any damages.
• Your role ensures that all scanners are in good condition and ready for daily use.

What You’ll Bring to the Table

We’re looking for candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

• Education: A Grade 12 certificate or equivalent in literacy and numeracy.
• Experience: 3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
• Knowledge: Understanding of spare parts, motors, and warehouse procedures will be beneficial.
• Skills: You need to be efficient, detail-oriented, and a team player. Physical fitness is essential, as the role involves moving stock and being on your feet.
